Анотація
Стаття присвячена дослідженню гострої геоекологічної проблеми Сумської області – забруднення довкілля відходами. Особлива увага приділяється аналізу динаміки утворення та накопичення відходів в регіоні, просторовій структурі утворення відходів, структурі утворення відходів за категоріями матеріалів, поводженню з небезпечними відходами та твердими побутовими відходами. Встановлено, що фоні скорочення чисельність населення області з кожним роком, накопичення відходів зростає. Основним утворювачем відходів є м. Суми, а у структурі відходів провідне місце посідають промислові відходи (62%), основним накопичувачем яких є ПАТ «Сумихімпром». Негативна тенденція спостерігається по поводженню з відходами: надзвичайно небезпечні відходи взагалі не утилізуються та не видаляються, лише 1% від загального обсягу твердих побутових відходів переробляється на вторинну сировину.
The article is devoted to the study of the acute geoecological problem of the Sumy region - pollution of the environment with waste. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the dynamics of production and accumulation of waste in the region, the spatial structure of waste generation, the structure of waste disposal by categories of materials, handling of hazardous waste and solid domestic waste. On the basis of statistical data, graphs and diagrams are made which show that the collection and accumulation of waste in the Sumy region have a steady tendency to increase. In 2016, the receipt of waste in the region decreased, but the accumulation of waste increased, this is because the disposal of waste in specially designated areas decreased by almost a third compared to 2015. The spatial structure of waste generation shows that the main waste producer is the city of Sumy, as the main industrial center of the region. In the structure of waste, the leading place is occupied by in-dustrial waste (62%), the main accumulator of which is OJSC “Sumykhimprom”. In the region, 18% (of the total volume) of toxic wastes of I-III hazard classes. In conclusion, the authors say that there is a clear negative trend: the population of the region is declining year by year, and the accumulation of waste is growing. And there is also a negative trend in waste management: extremely hazardous waste is not disposed of at all and is not removed, only 1% of the total volume of solid household waste is processed for secondary raw materials.
