Нанотехнології та наноетика: питання дефіниції

Abstract

У статті розглянуто особливості розвитку нанотехнологій як пріоритетного напряму науково-технічного прогресу, а також етичні рефлексії над цим процесом, що описуються поняттям «наноетика». Спрямованість дискусій щодо етичних аспектів розвитку нанотехнологій залежить від визначення нанотехнологій. Наноетика не може зводитися до «етики небезпеки», але має безперервно відстежувати й аналізувати нові ситуації, що виникають унаслідок розвитку нанотехнологій.

The features of development of nanotechnologies as a priority direction of the scientific and technical progress, as well as ethical reflections on this process described by the notion “nanoethics” are considered in the article. The focus of discussions about ethical aspects of nanotechnologies depends on definition of nanotechnologies. Nanoethics should not be reduced to the “disaster ethics”, but nanoethics should constantly monitor and analyze new situations, arising from the development of nanotechnologies.
