Анотація
Авторами систематизовано підходи щодо означення понять «якість» та «моніторинг». Окреслено етапи організації, функції та види моніторингу. У статті, спираючись на результати експериментального дослідження, доведено необхідність удосконалення форм контролю знань учнів з математики, організації повторювального курсу шкільної математики для студентів-першокурсників математичних та інженерних спеціальностей вищих навчальних закладів.
The authors examined the issue of monitoring the quality of mathematics education. This article consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the first part the author systematized approaches to the definition of the terms «quality» and «monitoring» generalized concept of educational monitoring. The main stages of formation of monitoring the quality of education in Ukraine. The basic steps for creating and carrying out functions and types of monitoring studies. In the practical part to investigate the compatibility knowledge of mathematics graduate students and first-year students studying mathematical subjects was conducted the survey. In the survey involved 239 first year students of various disciplines of various universities of Sumy. The questionnaires processed in three stages. 1. Compared school grade point average (estimated in the certificate) in mathematics and the result of external independent evaluation of each respondent. 2. Compared result of external independent evaluation of the results of the examination of mathematics that first-year students were in the first session in the university. 3. Compared result of school grade point average in mathematics and mathematics test results, which were first-year students during the first session in the university. When comparing the results of school grade point average in mathematics, scores of independent external evaluation and exam of mathematics that first-year students were in the first session in higher education was identified 3 levels of student learning in mathematics: average, sufficient, high. In order to establish homogeneity test results of mathematical knowledge of students, the authors used a method of statistical hypotheses. Studied, the number of respondents sufficient and high-level decreases by increasing the number of respondents average. It was concluded that first-year students poorly adapted to the new system of education. The authors believe that the monitoring system will be effective when the quality of education research will be conducted at all levels of government. Addressing the quality of education should begin with training teachers to use innovative teaching methods in the classroom, new projects improving the quality of education funding, bringing obtain uniformity and requirements for the provision of educational services equal terms of quality education, including mathematical directly.
