dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано тенденції розвитку вищої освіти в Австралії. Виокремлено основні фактори, що плинули на реформування вищої освіти. Проаналізовано основні етапи та напрями її модернізації. Висвітлено основні перетворення, які були здій¬снені в освітній системі країни після проведення реформ. Визначено характерні риси австралійської освітньої системи та розкрито принципи, на яких вона базується.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article analyzes the trends of higher education in Australia. The main factors that influenced the reforming of higher education are determined. The basic stages and directions of modernization are characterized. The basic changes that have been made in the educational system of the country after the reform are revealed. In order to ensure the competitiveness of higher education in the global education market, the country improved organization of the educational system. Today it is a country which occupies a leading position in the world ranking assessing the quality of education. The university education evolved from the formation of a binary system of education to introduce unified national system of higher education that marked improvement of the research universities. One of the major trends in the reform of higher education in Australia is the rate of export of educational services, contributing to the modernization of higher education institutions and higher education throughout the country. It is stressed that the main purpose of Australian higher education institutions is to increase the level of qualifications, support and updating of qualified professionals thanks to the close cooperation of educational institutions with a professional environment. This helps to assess the prospects in the field of education, to improve the performance and availability of services, promotes employment of graduates. Practical training is a vivid example of close cooperation of educational institutions with a professional environment. The analysis of the principles of the higher education reform in Australia allows noting that the subjects have always advocated education reform. Based on the analysis of the principles of higher education reform in Australia, we can talk about their result: high-quality higher education, the formation of a stable, decentralized system of higher education accessible to all citizens of the country on an equal basis. Careful analysis of important documents leads to the conclusion that all the activities of education sector management contributed to the development of higher education in Australia and the consolidation of its position in the global market.uk_UA
