Анотація
Мета статті – розкриття особливостей онлайн-навчання з використанням сучасних методів і технологій навчання англійської мови професійного спрямування студентів технічних спеціальностей. Методи дослідження: теоретичного аналізу, синтезу, індукції та дедукції, опису, систематизації та ін. У результаті дослідження встановлено, що для вивчення англійської мови професійного спрямування в режимі онлайн навчання доцільно використовувати проєктні роботи, «музичні діалоги», «реальну граматику», сторітелінг, комп’ютерні технології, відеоуроки, онлайн платформи, подкасти англійською мовою, онлайн-блоги, онлайн-журнали, онлайн вправи, електронні підручники та словники, додатки Skype, Viber, Telegram, Zoom, Messenger, Hangouts.
Specific features of online teaching Еnglish for professional purposes to students of technical specialties. Global integration processes set new responsibilities for the methodology of teaching foreign languages in higher education institutions (HEIs). At the level of technical higher education institutions, such a task is to train a specialist who speaks a foreign language as a means of communication to solve problems of a professional and social nature, as well as successful international cooperation. One way to solve this problem is online learning. The purpose of the study: to reveal the features of online learning using modern methods and technologies of teaching English to professional students of technical specialties. The following methods were used in the research process: theoretical analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, methods of description, systematization, comparison and generalization. Research results. It is established that to study English for professional students of technical specialties in online learning, it is advisable to use the following modern teaching methods: discussion, project work, listening, role-playing games, stimulating discussion and debate, “musical dialogues”, “real grammar”, storytelling. A number of modern technologies used for online learning of English for professional students of technical specialties, including computer technology, are identified: audio and video tools; online platforms (Moodle, Learning.ua, Stepik, Learningapps, Padlet, Prezzi, LearningApps.org, Mentimeter, Kahoot, Quizlet, Microsoft Teams); podcasts in English (Se-radio.net, Herdingcode.com, Ruby5.codeschool.com, Fivejs.codeschool.com); online blogs, online magazines, online exercises (BBC Learning English, British Council Learn English, Cambridge Assessment English); electronic textbooks and electronic dictionaries (Cambridge English Dictionary, Oxford English Dictionary, Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, Collings English Dictionary); Skype, Viber, Telegram, Zoom, Messenger, Hangouts applications. It was found that the information resources used for online learning of English for professional students of technical specialties are subject to certification. Practical significance. The methods and technologies of online English language learning considered in the article can be used in the educational process of technical free speech in online classes on professional foreign language in the conditions of quarantine caused by the pandemic COVID-19. Prospects for further research are seen in revealing the basic principles of combining online and offline learning of English for professional students of technical specialties
