«Урочище крейдище» – потенційна геологічна пам’ятка природи

Анотація
Аналіз системи заповідних територій та об’єктів Сумської області свідчить про невідповідність їх національним і європейським стандартам. Із 291 об’єкта природно-заповідного фонду області тільки 5 із них належать до геологічних, що складає лише 0,017 % від загальної площі Сумської області. Тому з метою збільшення кількості природоохоронних територій Сумської області зібрано матеріал, який слугує науковим обґрунтуванням перспективного заповідного об’єкта неподалік с. Зелений Гай Сумського району – геологічної пам’ятки природи місцевого значення – «Урочище Крейдище». У науковому обґрунтуванні подано довідку з історії дослідження, загальну характеристику об’єкта, характеристику природоохоронної, наукової, естетичної та іншої цінності території, що пропонується для заповідання, мету створення пам’ятки природи та характер її використання. Розроблено заходи з метою раціонального природокористування та охорони перспективної пам’ятки природи. З огляду на достатню кількість підстав цій території необхідно надати статус геологічної пам’ятки природи місцевого значення. Об’єкт має велике наукове значення – відображає конкретний історичний етап геологічного літопису палеогенового періоду Дніпровсько-Донецької западини. Перспективний заповідний об’єкт належить до типу стратиграфічного та геоекономічного, головне його значення – це стратиграфія палеогену. Має також перспективність як опорний об’єкт при проведенні геологічних екскурсій для учнів закладів загальної середньої освіти, вихованців позашкілля та студентів природничих спеціальностей.
The analysis of Sumy region conservation areas and items system is indicative of the inconformity to their national and European standards. As the environmental requirements in the countries of the European Economic Community are well above than in Ukraine, so the substantial part of the European integration is the conservation areas development. Out of 291 objects of the region nature reserve fund, only 5 are geological, which is only 0.017% of the total Sumy region area. Therefore, in order to increase the number of Sumy region conservation areas, material was collected, which serves as a scientific justification for a prospective protected object near the village Zelenyi Gay of Sumy region – a geological natural landmark of local importance – Urochyshche Kreydyshche. The analysis of literary sources is carried out, as well as the materials of field researches conducted by the author from 2012 till 2019 are summarized. The scientific justification provides a background on the study history, a general description of the object, a characteristic of the conservation, scientific, aesthetic and other value of the area offered for the conservation, the purpose of creating a nature preserve and its use. Measures have been developed for the purpose of rational nature use and protection of perspective nature preserve. The received materials can be used by the Department of Environment and Energy of Sumy Regional State Administration, specialized design and scientific institutions in the scientific substantiation and development of the Project of creation of the conservation area. Due to the sufficient number of grounds this area is necessary to be granted the status of a geological nature preserve of local importance. The object is of great scientific importance – reflecting a specific historical stage of the geological chronicle of the Paleogene period of the Dnieper-Donetsk basin. The sediments deposited here testify to the existence of a vast sub-latitudinal sea-strait between the Northern Europe and the southeastern edge of the Eastern European Platform. The prospective nature preserve is of the stratigraphic and geo-economic type, its main importance is the Paleogene stratigraphy. It also has the prospect of being a support object in conducting geological excursions for students of general secondary educational institutions, extracurricular institutions and students of natural sciences specialties.
